Sending cryptocurrencies to another individual via Savl is an intuitive and secure process. Whether you want to make a payment, send a gift, or simply transfer funds, we've got you covered.
Let's break down the process step-by-step:
- Upon launching the Savl app, navigate to the "Wallets" tab. Locate and tap the "Send" button at the top of the screen under “My Balance”.
- From the list of cryptocurrencies that appear, select the currency you wish to send.
- Next, input the recipient's wallet address in the “Wallet address” field. There are three ways to do this:
- Manual Input: Simply paste the recipient's wallet address into the designated field (check it carefully to ensure it is correct - once sent transactions cannot be reversed).
- QR Code: To scan a QR code, tap "Scan QR" above your device's keypad, then grant camera permission by tapping "OK". The recipient should tap "RECEIVE" from their home screen, select BTC if they're receiving Bitcoin, and show you the QR code. This method is great for face-to-face transactions and reduces errors.
- Savl Username: To send funds to a Savl user who is also on your phone's contact list, you can use their Savl username located in the "Contacts" section above the "Wallet address" field.
- Now input the amount of currency you would like to send and continue.
- Now, select your desired "Transaction fee" or transaction speed option. Higher fees will typically ensure faster transaction times.
- After verifying the details, finalize the transaction by tapping the green "Send" button.
Remember: Each blockchain network has specific minimum and maximum transaction amounts. These limits, together with the transaction fees, are determined by the network's current capacity and congestion levels. Always confirm these details before proceeding with your transaction to ensure a smooth and successful transfer.
